La Collana di Cassandra, 2010 (Cassandra's Necklace)

Skyline is one of the first pieces of our repertoire that we faced. We have been performing it since 2004 and ever since than it has accompanied us in almost all of our performances. It is a short piece so that when we don’t put it in our concert program, we propose it as an encore. The cultured and well educated audience and non always appreciates it for its freshness, it could almost be defined as a new age style piece, almost a soundtrack for a film. For us it is an emotional flute melody, a full breath on the continual flow of the harpsichord, it manages to merge together the sound of our instruments whilst at the same time bringing out and enhancing their different peculiarities. Playing Skyline was worth the dedication of the composer Gianluca Podio, we have felt as if it were our own and playing it and replaying it has contributed to strengthening the bond in us with the music of our time.

Quattro lembi di cielo, 2009 (Four strips of sky)

In 2009 Novecembalo continued in its self-appointed task of recording the complete repertoire of contemporary music for harpsichord and flute,  producing this CD of work by Daniele Venturi. "Preludio all'infinito Silenzio" (Prelude to Infinite Silence), dedicated to the duo Chiara Agosti and Diadorim Saviola, is an outstandingly original piece for this formation. Novecembalo, 2008

In 2008 Novecembalo recorded its first album bearing the name of the ensemble. It contains thirteen pieces of contemporary musc written 1984 -  2007 for flute and harpsichord, performed by Chiara Agosti and Diadorim Saviola. It is available directly from Novecembalo or from the CDBaby website, where a short extract of each piece can also be heard.
